Several times a year, AMIGOS organizes family excursions to sites organizes family excursions to sites of interest: Museums, the Cope Environmental Center,the Cincinnati Zoo, Richmond Civic Theater, Boys and Girls Club camp, the Earlham horse barn and the Newport Aquarium.

Amigos Corazón Latino Youth Group fundraising dinner. Enjoy wonderful Mexican food at the Comstock Room at Earlham College between 6 and 8 PM
Friday, November 11
College day for Hispanic high school and middle school students at Earlham, IU East & Ivy Tech
Monday September 12
Amigos Spanish classes began with six people attending the 8-week session. Anyone interested should come during class hours.
Friday September 16
Howard, Patty and Pamela spoke at the Kiwanis club lunch.
Monday September 19
Melissa Lamson gave an Amigos sponsored workshop to Wayne County non-profits called "Steps to Success." The workshop focused on how non-profits can clarify their message, identify barriers, and set priorities. Later that day, Melissa met with the Amigos board and staff to duscuss what messages we want to convey to the public.
Tuesday September 27
The Amigos community Latino committee met with state Senator Allen Paul. See the write up in the following link.
Wednesday September 28
The first Corazón Latino Youth Group meeting was held at Test Middle School. Eleven Test students and one Dennis student attended. We will have a larger group of Dennis students this week. The group enjoyed fun introductory activites with five Earlham College students, Mirella Molina, and Howard Lamson.
